The iPhone 7 You probably know how the world falls at Apple’s knees when it releases something new (respectively), no offense though; I’m an apple fan myself. So, the latest phone by Apple is the iPhone 7 and along with it is the iPhone 7 Plus. This article has you covered for everything you need to know about this phone. Without further ado, let’s get into the phone itself.
Design and Body Framework
So the iPhone 7 and Plus comes in a variety of themes or colors; Rose Gold, Gold, Silver, Black, Jet Black . The 7 Is flat and sleekly designed with a camera at the back. The 7 plus has 2 lenses. The iPhone 7 has a width of 7.1mm and the iPhone 7 plus a width of 7.3mm. The iPhone 7 is 5.44inch by 2.54 inches and the iPhone 7 Plus is 6.23 inches by 3.07 inches. Both of them are quite sturdy and delicate at the same time; might seem like I contradicted myself here but the back is metal encased and plastic-ey outside, but the front Is the glass panel screen which seems like it couldn’t take a good beating.

The Jack Problem
When this phone first came out, the media immediately started bashing it because of one of its things; the lack of a headphone jack. Unlike the older Apple Headphones, the ones for the iPhone 7 are Bluetooth wireless “AirPods” as they are called. However at first, users found a solution was to add a dock which allowed them to listen to wired music. Then, some Chinese companies (various) started producing a converter that started to plug into the charging slot, aka the lightning adapter slot, to then a female jack in which you could plug your headphones which were wired. This became immediately popular and Apple themselves, probably to avoid loss, adapted the feature themselves. Even now, that means an iPhone user can not simultaneously charge their phone and use it to listen to audio at the same times. There are a few theories on why Apple might’ve dropped the headphone jack, but the real reason remains a mystery.
