A Step Up from Intel?

Intel has been the leading tech company for years when it comes to processors.
And so far we have seen the Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 series processors. Whereas the 7th gen Kaby Lake processors are the most recent release from Intel so far.

Recently Intel has confirmed the release of its new Kaby Lake X series processors which will include the core i9 7980XE, series processors.

As for the release of the Kaby Lake X-Series processor, the Intel has not yet announced the release date. But Intel did in fact mentioned to release the chips within the coming weeks at the Computex 2017.
The i9-7920X is confirmed to be on sale in August, while the i9 7980XE, i9 7960X and i9 7940X has no official confirmation when is comes to the release of these high End chips.
The processors will require a motherboard with the LGA 2066 Socket “R4” and the X299 chipset, which is part of the Basin Falls platform.


Intel also has confirmed the pricing for the i9 7980XE and i5 7640X processors
Where Core i9 7980XE announced for $1,999 and Core i5 7640x for $242 respectively.

So far everything looks good and surely pc enthusiasts are hyped for this new release of the kaby Lake X series processor. The specs are stunning, and this is the first time we have seen such amount of cores that these Processors are providing for the consumer.
